Bus line from Naples airport to port

Naples is getting nicer and nicer with tourists lately, I have already told you that they have established a fast track train from the city center to Sorrento and the archeological sites of Pompei and Ercolano (Campania Express) and now a direct bus line from Capodichino international airport to the maritime station is introduced. It won’t take you by surprise when I say that visiting one of the islands of the gulf of Naples- Ischia, Capri or Procida- is like the incoronation of your stay in the city.

Alibus, the direct shuttle between the airport and the harbour (stopping also  at the Central station) will make your life a lot easy if you do not wish to spend musch time in the city and are better off for island hopping.

The bus only stops at the great hubs, the ticket costs 5 euros and you can buy it onboard and also at bars and tobacco shops at the airport. The Alibus ticket is valid only for this one ride, so even if it has a validity of 90 minutes you cannot switch to another mean of public transport after getting off.

The bus ride takes 15 minutes from the airport to the central station and 35 minutes from the airport to the harbour.

Az Alibus  rides leave the airport approximately every twenty minutes. The timetabe is the following from the airpot:
